This temple is dedicated to goddess Prathiyangara Devi. The height of the statue of the goddess is 72 feet. The deity has a lion head, with bulging eyes, a long necklace of skulls around her and her skin is blue color. In her right hand, she holds a Trishul(Trident) and in the left hand, she holds a head. There is a small underground. Left side of the temple contain Sarabeswarar temple which has big idol of Sarabeswarar.
